પ્રવાસ એટલે અનેક રીતે ઊઘડી શકવાની શક્યતાઓ. બાળકોને સ્કૂલ છોડી ઘરે ભણાવવાનાં નિર્ણયમાં પણ આ પ્રવાસ પ્રેમ કારણભૂત. કોઈપણ અભ્યાસક્રમ કે પરીક્ષાઓ સિવાયનાં અમારાં અનસ્કૂલિંગમાં કુદરત, પુસ્તકો, પ્રવાસો અને સ્પોર્ટ્સ એ બાળકો માટે શીખવાનાં ચાર મુખ્ય માધ્યમો રહ્યાં. પ્રવાસો કરવા અને એ વિશે લખવું એ એક આનંદની વાત હંમેશા બની રહી. મિત્રો તરફથી મળતાં પ્રોત્સાહનો પણ પ્રેરિત કરતાં રહ્યાં. કાકાસાહેબ કહે છે એમ દેશ દર્શન એટલે જ દેવ દર્શન એમ દેશનો દરેક ખૂણો એનાં પોતામાં રસપ્રદ લાગે છે.

Our love for travel was one of the reasons behind our decision to homeschool our children instead of sending them to a traditional school. In our unschooling journey—free from fixed curriculums and exams—nature, books, travel, and sports have become the four main pathways of learning for our kids.
