After retiring from a very active and hectic profession of operating an engineering company, Sudhir Gandhi revived his childhood hobby of reading and writing. He wrote a technical book based on his practical experience in the field backed by his master’s in mechanical engineering, substantiated by a postgraduate diploma in business management. The book was intended to attract fresh mechanical engineering students to join the fabrication industry as a career option and also to guide those already joined the industry during their daily practice. He as a senior citizen experienced many issues and felt strongly about the same. He felt helpless many a time about the situation beyond his control since he was “outclassed” because of his age. He decided to put down on a paper his various thoughts flowing out of his mind and as a result of it, this book has emerged.
