Description
This compilation isn’t just a collection of poems– it’s a window to my ideas, thoughts and ideologies, delicately woven into poetry. Hence, the title. It all began with a song– a melody that stirred something deep within me. It spoke of women–women who hadn’t yet tasted the sweet flavour of freedom. Women who were confined and coerced into certain roles in their own ménage. They were silenced and pressured to let go off their dreams. I supposed this song might’ve resonated with lots of women. It lit up a fire within me. From then on, words began to flow. The ideas came to me on their own. I added rhythm and refinement to them. I offer them now to you, hoping that it would impact, inspire or simply just stir a moment of pause. My art flows through these pages, where thoughts get woven into poetry.
